I think the real reason politicians try to restrict weapons,isn't for so called public safety because they could care less about the public but what they care about is they're safety & thus the goverment fears the public. Because of our numbers,so this is why an armed public frightens them so don't believe they're bullshit excuses about public safety & they don't fear criminals they fear you. The people who control goverments are criminals!

@crypter27 That's exactly it, friend. Glad to hear folks are on top of this. In some ways, this is getting better thanks to Mr. Ritter and Kniferights. As always, though, it's a slow process wading through the legal molasses. This kinda stuff requires a lot of work and attention to get it moving even a little bit in the direction of freedom. It sure as heck moves fast in the other direction!

@DemonHide That it does,because they have the power structure to make & inforce what ever laws they want atleast for now! But not forever,in the old days they had every body brain washed with public schools & main stream media along with entertainment. But times are rapidly changing,the rise of the internet devistated main stream media so they no longer have the power to program minds! !

@crypter27 Now the dinosaur media is slowly going extinct,to know more check out the Berzynsky speach & now all they have left is force,now they're openly saying we don't give a damm what you think. Just look at what happened with NDAA,which was an open declaration of war on the American people,but it also shows they only care about protecting them selves. And they are fearful of the American people!
