well can you use other keyboard that are bluetooth controlled as well? because i have a Logitech dinovo Edge and it's compatible with Mac's as well but i couldn't get it to work yet (haven't really tryed that much but i only see vids with the original apple bluetooth keyboard so that's why i'm asking).
it is better if on your mac you go : BLUETOOTH (PREFERENCES MENU)
> on the left there is listed your keyboard.
> select the keyboard
> press on the "-" bottom
> "are you sure you will remove this device?" > YES.
so you are sure that when you turn on the keyboard it is going to link with your mac. It happen very often and maybe can prevent the correct association with your iphone if the mac is always requesting the access to the BT keyboard.
@scruch Does it works with iOS 4.0 Golden Master ? Because I have iPhone 3G and 4.0 GM and it wouldn't find my Apple keyboard, but my laptop find it...

@chasesmith8011 you need to put your BT key in discoverable mode.
1) make sure the key is disconnected from your mac.
2) push for ~5-10 seconds the power bottom on the key (green led will blink).
3)iphone > settings > general > bluetooth : the keyboard will be listed , click on it.
4) on your phone compare a dialog follow the instructions on keyboard, and press enter on the key.
your keyboard is paired and working =)
