oh lord jesus what a blessing big m was. Nanadsyl; i don't mean to rub it in - but it was FANTASTIC! I used to go down to harlem in the early 50's as an eager black teenager and watch Big Maybelle play with R&B blasters like Ruth Brown, Jackie Wilson, LaVern (a couple of times, even got her autograph on an old 45!!) but geez it was great! As for the 2nd song by Baker, what a different style, but equally as bloody fantastic! Lived in Australia since 1962 but that ain't stopped nothing!
