maybe I am doing something wrong? I run this into my FX loop. Using the amp distortion, then swtich the the FX loop on, the pedal seems to thin out the sound. Is there a fix to that?
@bcomiskey23 Not sure what you mean, "...then switch the FX loop on...". Your distortion pedal should be between your guitar and the amp's input jack. Run a cable from the FX loop Send jack to the Repeater (Left) input and another cable from Repeater (Left) output to FX loop Return jack. Repeater should be at the end of the signal chain.
@delpimpo Main difference is nova delay has presets and repeater is a cut down cheaper version however repeater has features not available on the ND like that it works in your amp fx loop
The dual-delay is extremely effective on this, looks like great fun. Is it possible to have dual-delay and reverse running at the same time? That would have me entertained for hours hehe
No it can't, it sort of tries to but fizzles out. My Vox Time Machine goes crazy real sci-fi movie stuff but that is the only thing this pedal can't do, the Time Machine is destined for ebay!
The analog and tape both sound very analog and you can adjust the tone as well so you get just the right sound, this works well with the digital setting too.
MXR's Carbon Copy is your best bet for true analog self-oscillating effect. Nova Repeater does everything else and more!
@guitarnoize That's exactly what I have, Just bought the Nova Repeater and am very happy with it but I will still be using my MXR Carbon Copy for analog sounds.
True bypass?

I liked how the tape option sounds. Feels like it would sound even better with spillout engaged :7

@bcomiskey23 sorry no idea, maybe it depends on whether your fx loop is series or parallel?

Hey, just wondering if this can self-oscillate?
Fantastic demos, by the way. Keep it up!
Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply! I guess if I really want self-oscillating then I could buy a really cheap pedal just for it.
Does the analog / tape actually sound analog?
