It's true it isn't for the beginner but erm- Sooooome peeps here got some SERIOUS anger management issues... it's a freakin video...

if it were titled tips for the intermediate technic or advanced wtevr it would be great; personally this is enough- could have used a quick expl on the technic she used to attach the pcs to ea other but I can guess, and it's nice to not have to sit thru/skip thru a 15 min video of s/o dble crocheting in a circle...

You need to know the basics of crochet for this to be a tutorial. It's not a waste of time and it's not misleading, she's just not physically demonstrating it. She's TELLING YOU how to do it. There are many instructional videos with demonstrations on how to get started.

This is a beautiful shawl but your title is misleading. Your title is "How to crochet for beginners" you are not showing or doing for the beginners. You have a lot of videos with this title but it is showing off your work. No examples on how to crochet or even give the pattern like tjw1963. I have to agree with the previous reader.

That is a beautiful shawl. But you people need to STOP misleading people. They think you are going to actually show them how to crochet and you don't. I learned how to crochet by watching tjw1963. Now I am pretty advanced in what I can do and from your video there is no way in hell I could make this shawl. Thanks for NOTHING but you showing off.

I agree completely. I wanted to learn how to make this! There was no information in this video other than, "Oo! Isn't this pretty?" Yes, very pretty, but it was pretty much worthless.

Agree with sassimami08 though. tjw1963 has some great tutorials. Perfect for me becuase I hold my hook pencil-wise as she does, not knife-wise as I see a lot of people doing nowadays. Holding the hook overhand like that is very awkward for me.

I totally agree with wwjdluv2, I've been trying to find vids that show you how to actually do these, but all I'm finding are ones of people talking about it. This doesn't help much.

yea expertvillage is known to do things like this..if u want to see someone do projects check out tjw1963..shes great..and will show u step by step and even answer ur questions. :))

The title of this video is a little misleading as it really doesn't tell you HOW to crochet this shawl. It's primarily a description and display of the finished item better titled My Finished Medallion Shawl project:)
