But you can't cut an answer out when one is just not given... at all. Sometimes, an "I'll get back ta ya" just doesn't cut it (no pun intended) and PRESIDENT Obama IS a very smart man. He is charismatic, knowledgeable, well informed, well surrounded by other smart people, dedicated and compassionate. I had the privilege of working on 2 of the Debates and I met him and shook his hand, and I can't explain how I know this, but aside from the fact that millions share my opinion, he feels RIGHT!

it is no secret that media is not non-bias or non-partisan. No doubt, Palin had some horrible interviews. My point stands, obama also mis-spoke and messed up in interviews several times, but I never saw those interviews focused on. I'm talking about instances like "I've visited 57 states" "uh..uh....to answer that with specificity is...uh...uh..above my pay grade" "give a boy with athsma a breathalizer" etc....yet I believe he is intelligent. I do not trust the media's portrayal of people.

How wrong you are. As much as I love Katie's work, Katie Couric is known to be a far left-wing liberal. Sarah Palin is extremely intelligent. Slick editing, and, in this case, a politcally-biased interviewer, can clearly slant the angle on the interview and make the interviewee look and sound smarter (or dumber) than he/she really is.

I'm not emphatically disagreeing with you, but on what are you basing this belief that Palin is extremely intelligent? I've been watching her stuff from before she was tapped for VP. She's a good state and local politician and she's smart, but her education is mediocre and her grasp of national and international issues, other than energy, is lacking. That doesn't make her dumb, but she's certainly not extremely intelligent.
