I saw her a few days ago on broadway and she was freaking AMAZING!!!!!

The only downside was that I was trying to get her autograph later and there were like a bunch of little kids around, and instead of staying to sign a few like some of the other castmembers, she put on a hat and left without stopping... Oh well, of course she has a right to privacy, but it was still disappointing.

But during the show she was UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Teal Wicks is very talented and does a phenomenal job as Elphaba. She is amazing on stage...however, she seems very awkward and inarticulate in this interview! It's like she's great at playing a character ON STAGE, but when it comes to public speaking skills, she kind of sucks! Plus, what's up with the continuous random swallowing in mid-sentence, like at :57??!!!

I just saw Teal in Wicked in San Francisco and I was blown away by her performance. I live in Sacramento and found out she is also from the Sacramento area. If you have a chance to see Wicked with Teal.... you should really go.... she is an amazing singer and actress.... :^D

All actors know that bootlegs are out there. Some hate them and will report a camera if they see it, some are ok with it but don't want to see themselves, and some specific actors (who i know but wont give out their name to not get them in trouble, besides Teal who obviously loves bootlegs) LOVE bootlegs. As an actor, id love to see what i look like when i act and maybe see what i can add or fix or i could give my dvd to family who cant see me live.

I found this interview funny for two reasons. First, in one of the later parts, the anchor actaully calls Teal, Elphaba, and she does not know realize it. Also, I find it amusing that the video used of Teal is a bootleg of her "Defying Gravity" from last April. This interview is informative too, though.
