  • Hey F, Do you know your estimate feild of view in terms of degrees? Its seems your in a spot that has low obstruction which ideal. And how is your "light pollution"? Its seems it gets dark on some of your vids. Im so curious about this project of yours.

  • @batterygrunt There's a lot of light pollution... If you looked on the light pollution map of the nation, you would not want to build an observatory here. BUT.. we don;t want to take two hours to set up everytime we go out... ~ F.

  • @ThePerfectMinds I was hoping you were far from all of that. Im a US Marine (retired) and I have been to places that were so dark outside that I couldnt see my hand inches from my face. We all set down for the night (3 hr rest) I was so F'n tired from earlier but when I laid down the night sky was or is beautiful!!! Imagine a painter taking a wet brush of white and flicking it across a dark purple sky. Laying there I lost count of the many "falling stars". This was in the Mojave, training. prt2

  • @batterygrunt Those are your experiences. Sharing them passes them on to me. I thank you for that. I'm on the radio in a few minutes over at freedomslips / revolutionradio ~ F.

  • @ThePerfectMinds I just got your msg how do I hear you? Whats your call sign or are you in the archives? I never used Revolution rad before.

  • @ThePerfectMinds prt 2... Since I was out there, then off to other far nasty places the night sky is incredible!!! Who ever out creator is. He/She is a brilliant being. No matter what part of the world your in if light is not a problem I can see why our long lost ancestors loved the night sky. That was probably their television back then. Anyways good luck on your project . Looking foward to vids. Make one of the moon if you can. Its a child hood thing of mine. Stay safe.
