If I'm correct, that clean part at the beginning is the bass riff. Not the rythm. But I play it as well.

I know this song up to the solo. Hahah, Once the solo starts I just change the song. Too long, Too boring in my opinion.

I know they've never played the intro live, but I've seen videos of James recording it, so that's good enough for me. He's always played the clean intros anyway, like in Sandman, Harvester, Thingy, Sweet Amber, etc. This one should be no different.

@HeavyMetalSonicRM That's a good point you hold, I always did find your covers to be the most accurate I've ever seen, another question. I remember back when you covered Sweet Amber, that someone pointed out that the heavy riff did NOT use Power Chords, what were they? I have every other riff down just like James played it, except for that part, because usually the Camera is never on his hands on that song.

I tried playing that exact same riff as you and James played it, but my distortion keeps blending in and fucking the riff entirely, I've tried changing my effects and everything, I have a great tone but I can't get that riff to sound right. I tried palm muting but that kills all the sound.

Buy a TS9 Tubescreamer and run that through your chain... Or at least borrow one. I have a shitty Marshall MG and the gain is fucking terrible. Throw in a Tube Screamer and the crunch and gain is much clearer.

@Abyssvx Pedals don't work with this amp. I know what you mean because I had the MG100 halfstack and the distortion was crap. Maybe it would work for playing the Beatles or some weak stuff like that, but god, it was terrible.

@HeavyMetalSonicRM I mean using the Overdrive over the Distortion. Borrow an Overdrive pedal and turn it on your distorted channel. Mess around with it and you'd probably find something you'd like :P
