DJing in 92, Played this and the dance floor cleared out, They weren't ready for this smash hit, sold all my vinyl went to mp3, Looked for this for years, drunk one night searched it and behold: Long lost jam from the 90's wow!!! what this could have been, Im gonna throw in my mix on my next set, we'll see if I get the same reaction from 92!!! Yeah!!!!!!!
Oh my God. I love this track. I was such a good little girl in Sixth Form in Uxbridge, North West London. I went to University in Salford in 1992, discovered alcohol, many other things and generally just let loose in response to the previous 18 years. This song just brings it all back, how hedonistic and estactic my life was back then. Everything was so free and unfettered back then. I'm 37 now. I don't feel old but I hate the way 37 sounds so old. This song makes me feel 18 again! :-)
1992, 23 years old, bright red Peugeot 205 CTi, roof down with choooooooons like this BLASTING out of it........ EVERYONE could hear me way before they saw me hahahahahahah wot a nob I must av been..........
Fast forward to 2011 the only thing that has changed is its now a silver TT Roadster, and I'm an old b*****d maaaaaaaaaaash uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup
The same thing happened to me. I was watching Running Man and heard that line. This was my favorite song back in 92. Whenever I would hear it in the club, I would stop what I was doing, look for my friend Tony and march out on the dance floor, proceeding to dance my ass off. This song brings back so many good memories. And it still rocks. I'm adding it to my workout playlist. Hugs to everyone!
Oh thank f**k!!! I was watching The Running Man for the 1st time in YEARS last night, and as soon as I heard "Who Loves You and Who Do You Love?!" in it, I had a chill going down my spine.....I just KNEW there was something connecting that sentence to copious amounts of pills back in the day......mystery solved!!!!! :D

Ok sample spotters from the old days.... work out who these guys are... the female vocalist ("Did I dream...") had a relationship with the son of the person who wrote the origional track, she is being sampled in the cover version. Forget abvious movie samples folks, the obscure is where its at!
I had this on mix tape 20 years ago!! just discovered THIS MORTAL COILS version of Song To the Siren...where the line "Did I dream you dreamed about me?" in this song was sampled from. pretty freaking awesome:)
I used to have this on 12" vinyl until my ex way back when through all my records down the stairs when I told him we were through. Classic tune from my 'rave' days 20 years ago, now that makes me feel old.
been trying to track down this tune with no title or artist. just quoting the sample and chorus. was starting to think i'd 'magined it. thank you for posting!
So many nights at various raves...glo-sticks, whistles, "smart" drinks, and hot sweaty girls who just loved riding on my shoulders while dancing........damn you for bringing back these memories : )
don't think there'll ever be a generation as lucky as we were to get to have lived thru a time with so many crackin tunes like this one. dublin '92 the olympic ballroom. just fuckin deadly. out of your head on fuckin horse tablets and nobody gave a bollix. eat em up yum yum. aaaaaaaagh just fuckin wreck it. hope my kids have something this good to look back on. old skool is cool!!
@jambbie They were good times indeed, people were friendly, no egos, agro or attitude. Generally fucking about and having a good time without pissing others off. Then came alcopops and cocaine.......
Not me ultra, at 37 I lived through this era in dance music, hell I lived for it. Fantasia, Carl Cox, Rat pack, Mikey B, Q-Tex, QFX, you name it, what a time, such treasured moments, this album still beats most of the modern dance crews hands down, apart from Scott Brown's elysium plus, System F's out of the blue, BINARY FINARY and anything by The Prodigy

So, let's get this straight, you're asking what the CD with "Messiah Temple of Dreams" written on it that's in the video called "The Messiah-Temple Of Dreams" is?
Well, this is just a wild guess, but I think it might be Temple of Dreams by Messiah.
proper stuff, found it at my brother the other day a few days after i bought my decks , we knocked some tunes out with this and a mixing it with altern8, we was bouncin
I remember this song wow it's been that long? I had this on a tape with another track that said "we are dead...we are dead..." from the early 90's as well. Anyone know what I am talking about? I cant remember the track title and it's been bothering me for years!.
this IS what music should still be not that rnb bullshit and pop on tv this is apex or the point which should take over music like this influenced shit we have no :( bring back rave and house :)

@sensetalker aha. So if it was repeated over 10 minutes it would be twice as good as the current 5 minute version?
The song, as it is, should be a 3-minute-mix (typical "radio edit" or something like this). At 5 minutes it needs another break part.

So, let's get this straight, you're asking what the CD with "Messiah Temple of Dreams" written on it that's in the video called "The Messiah-Temple Of Dreams" is?
Well, this is just a wild guess, but I think it might be Temple of Dreams by Messiah.

I remember this song wow it's been that long? I had this on a tape with another track that said "we are dead...we are dead..." from the early 90's as well. Anyone know what I am talking about? I cant remember the track title and it's been bothering me for years!.
