I lived in Taebaek for 15 years, but some parts of your video I've never seen it before. And I never been that cave either. Next time when I go there, I'll definitely check it out.
I've been to Taebaek before. I went with the faculty from one of my schools as part of a weekend get away while I was teaching over there a couple of years ago. I like the videos you make.
fast paced tour is so Korean thing...(at least for the older generation Koreans and maybe for younger generations as well) what's very interesting is even with that kind of paced tour, they somehow manage to get all the pictures. Great Vid!
taebeak & almost all of kangwon is gourgous! its so clean compared to seoul,i miss this place as i been there from the 80's till 2003., can't wait to go back
Oh! Taebaek is where my grandma lives. It's a really lovely place especially in winter! I believe the city helds snow festival every year. Thank you for uploading this video ^_^
@daewooparts It is a great place to explore. Jo and I are going to take some time and really get out there. I think we're going to buy a car to make it easier.
@qiranger get a GMdaewoo ! driving in korea is way more challanging then the states but i never crashed, kangwon is great to drive in ,both the highway or the local roads, but some are twisty as all
@MicknFumi Some are really up close to the path as well. In fact, it reminds me a lot of the issues with the ruins I used to work with (hand oil damage).
Have you gone there in the winter when it's covered in snow? It's beautiful. I went there last winter!

I've never been to Taebaek in the summer, I'm always on vacation during the Taebaek Cool Cinema Festival.
But the Snow Flowers Festival at Taebaek in the Winter is awesome! The hiking there is a lot of fun when cleats are necessary~

Looks like a nice place to visit...its a shame a lot of the staligtite came formations have been tainted by peoples touch, making them grey.
