Its not because you're bad or you fucked up the magick, its probably in your life and you don't know it. A good thing to do is to tell the Universe that you're Open and and Ready to accept ALL positive things to come into your life. Stat with that, and see where it takes you.
But I understand that they can get stalker-like, so it's best to realize how much of a risk one is making before deciding if they should proceed with the spell.
