i really loved this movie. the facts are mostly true, maybe a few details were twisted to make the story a little more intriguing, but Henry the 8th really did marry 6 times. Anne being his second marriage. her refusal for sex lured him in, therefore she persuaded him to make her queen. this changed england forever, but for the better. if you research, you will find out that she is one of the most admired queens ever. her daughter became Queen Elizabeth of England, which is another amazing story

well perhaps the details are a bit exaggerated for dramatic purposes, but the story all in all is a real one, king henry the 8th existed and he did fall in love with anne boleyn and he did divorce his first wife for her, he made a huge impact on the church and anne boleyn really does get beheaded, and she does have a sister named mary lol :) and he really was an insensitive pig, BUT HE WAS FAT AND UNATTRACTIVE IN HIS LATER YEARS! not as hot as he is portrayed in this movie :) k im done!

well the book is SOOO different from the movie,she was reasonably calm considering her predicament, but it seemed very clear they were going to only bannish her but then last minute decided on beheading, she didn't really see it coming. According to the book though she DID sleep with her brother and her miscarriage was because of the malformed baby created from incest. pretty disturbing :S and mary first had a baby girl with King Henry, THEN a boy. movie missed A LOT definitely worth the read!!

There is no proof that Anne was ever intimate with her brother. Also Mary's children were born long after her affair with Henry so they were not his. This book is so far from history it's like the author didn't even research just put to together a story with little tid-bits she knew.
