yea dude def start on like a GS500 or something there quick and cheap to insure a gixxer 750 is way to fast and crazy for a first bike even a gixxer 600 is pushing it they are really snappy! and finding a company to insure you on a gixxer 750 will be hard enough!

depends on your weight and the year of the bike. The new 750s and 600s are as powerful as the older 1000s so be careful. I'd say do the smart thing and buy an older 600 and move up after about a year or 2 of riding. My first bike was a 750 and I can't complain. I love that thing.

the 2008 ninja 250r is a good starter bike, you'll get sick of it in two days and want somthing bigger but the 08' model is new and looks like any other rocket....and the good thing is they retail for $3,500 off the lot...
