@Kornwolf You can litter train them, personally I think that would be the best decision for your fox. Fennec fox's urine and poo don't smell so don't forget to change the box, lol. Good luck!

@Kornwolf fennecs do best with litter training and puppy pads work too but they have been known to almost always have a few accidents every once in a while, especially when they get excited. and they will chew things especially metallic things but they usually take a liking to one thing or area and chew/dig there. they dig in carpet and flooring a lot, and it can mess up the floor if you're not careful, i'd advise training them out of that ASAP :)

@stevenkatherina So people don't look into things before they comment. I'd love a fenec fox personally and there used to be a breeder in Calgary but from what I know, it's now illegal in canada even to have the fennec foxes that are bred like your little one is

@GivenAwayMyHeart I'm sorry to hear that they have been banned as pets in Canada. They are an exotic, and I am always worried that the legality of owning him could change. It doesn't make much sense to ban a fennec fox. When properly bred and raised, they are no more dangerous than a cat or dog.

What I had meant to say was that it was illegal in Alberta. And really? My dog is like an arctic fox mixed with a fennec just how she's is and she's harmless! It's just not fair.

That is definitely what he is a lot like! He's very silly, but very sweet. As he has gotten older, he loves his ears rubbed, still a lot like a cat... But when he gets running, I swear he is more squirrel-like...

They can be anything from £1000 to £20,000.

Depends on what breed you get.

Your also better off getting one from a breeder, it might be a little more, but at least you can guarantee that its not been in the wild and so wont want to go back into the wild. Ones from the wild are hit and miss

you also need a licence because its classed as an exotic animal. Not everywhere lets you keep exotic animals so you'd need to check if its permitted in your area. I hope this helps.
