Since when did a bit of water get so political? In Thailand they actually have an annual 3 day holiday, where all they do is go around having one big water fight. Maybe Leeds should petition for this holiday. Give these people something really to moan about when they are stuck in the office!

becuase its so easy for us to get a Visa, commonwealth countries get approved easier when you apply, and since england is so close to the rest of europe, alot of aussies use it as a base to travel the rest of europe. ;)
i was at the waterfight, it was great fun and i didnt see people get hurt as you would in other organised events. Yes there was damage in the garden, but the waterfight has become a tradition which i love dearly. As far as trying to speak for all the taxpayers, i am a tax payer, amongst a british government that considered scrapping the 10p tax (a complete class exploitation scheme)and have caused more damage than in this event by cocerning themselves with a war that didnt concern them
