Bulmer's.... I remember my wife drinking to pints in Dungarvin and I had to carry her back to the B&B. I'm sure the Magners here in the US is not the same as the 12% it was there when we had it.
Hey Drubbler, this song is so true. I vacationed there in Oct. of 2010 and so want to go back. The people are friendly and beautiful. The nightlife around Dublin is awesome. Best time in my life. I love Guinness and when I was there I learned of Bulmer's an apple cider beer. Well I'm from Texas and found out we get it here to but under the name Magner's.
Heh... I'm sick of telling people that my family is Irish and they say "OH LOLOL, U MUST DRANK LIEK ALL DAY, R U HAMMERED?"
Pfft. Yes, Ireland is known for getting it's drink on. So is Germany, but you don't hear them getting that kind of crap! There's so much more to Ireland and so much beauty, and these pictures prove it. <3 Irish Pride... for all the right reasons!
Dublin has to be the most boring and morbid town in the world and people who live there just dont know life or there own self-worth its like a prison because almost every bar and food-store has arrogant polish security gaurds on them and everybody judges you for simple things like the way you dress acked behave walk and talk its SICK get the fuck out and live your life . You cannot exspress your true self in Dublin because the culture is so exstremley different to everywhere
excellent song Riley! lyrics beautifully married to the melody; superb arrangement:; and where DID you get the whistle and fiddles?THOROUGHLY ENJOYABLE1111
I'm sorry for not responding before. This is the 1st I'd seen your comment. Did you ever learn it? I wrote the song 1999 coming home on the plane, went back in 2004 and got to sing it in a Dublin pub.
Thanks drubbler, no I didn't learn it because it was your song and I didn't have your permission. If it's ok I'd like to learn it for the St. Patricks day performances this year. As my name inplies I play the Celtic harp.
I'm in New Hampshire, I will definitely make a go of it, it's a great sing along tune as well so I think I work it out for my audience to join me for the chorus.
I find this offensive. [I'm from Ireland myself]

Didn't you mother teach you not to judge a book by its cover? Sooo obvious you didn't listen to the song.

If you were a genie and could make it happen it would be my first wish. Being 5,500 km from Cork it won't be soon.

You're invited to do so! As Germany does have a lot of nice places it should become a wonderful song. :-)))

Thanks for the nice words. Now I have to go to Germany and write a song.
