  • Just curious as what you would recommend now for minoxidil ? Perfect image has ceased production. What other 15 percent is out on the market? Just started using this about a month ago and went to order more. This stinks! Lol

  • @vfishead I just saw :(. Did you find any?

  • ive been using 5% for 5 years and Ive managed to stay where i was as far as my hair. In other words, I didn't regrow hair but I also didn't loose any hair. I was 23 when i started and Im 28 today... Im happy with it

  • Dude, the 2005 study with azelaic acid was about treating alopecia areata, not MPB.

I still think that azelaic acid is useless... Just like caffeine or saw palmetto (orally). The last one might work a little as addition to a topical solution, but it alone won't do anything.

  • I don't train but this shit should work wonders!

  • minoxidil work ? !

  • @HairLossFromSteroids Well, I'm not sure about d-panthenol (=dexpanthenol) increasing the absorption (how should I test it?), but it it definitely helps to prevent redness, itching and dandruff (problems that many minoxidil users have).

I'm not really recommending Pantostin, there are more effective topical dht blockers, but they are more likely to have side effects.

I can recommend Spectral.DNC-L, Revita and Revita.COR, DS Labs stuff is really effective (maybe not as much as they claim to be).

  • @HairLossFromSteroids

Hallo have you tried dualgen 15% or anyone else from you. If any of you used this did you see hair regrowth??

  • @antidogmatism pleace could you tell me your opinion on product called herbal h and bravo biocare and can i use minoxidil 15 2 times daily

  • @137513751375able Their promises can't be true. No positive experiences on the internet. I think that bravo biocare doesn't work at all. Herbal h might work a little because it contains minoxidil 3%, but it is way too expensive. Herbal minoxidil doesn't exist.

15% minoxidil once a day should be enough. Twice a day could increase side effects. Why don't you start with cheap Kirkland Minoxidil to see how it works?

  • @antidogmatism thank you but i used kirkland 5% for 9 months and will continoue for 3months after that i will use minoxidil 15 in which im get low result from minoxidil 5% also cause dandruff to me which i solved by ketokonazoke so what you think should i use another product with minoxdil 15

  • @137513751375able Ok, you can try the Perfect Image Solutions 15% Minoxidil or Xandrox 15 or one of the minoxidilmax 15% solutions. I can also recommend Spectral.DNC-L, it works for me very well so far (12 weeks). It is cream based and intended for bald areas. For thinned areas I would recommend Spectral.DNC which is liquid. Unfortunately, many users of DS Laboratories products (manufacturer of Spectral.DNC(-L) complain about changing quality... I was lucky so far.

  • Are you really sure about the effectiveness of azelaic acid? I think there was only one in vitro study in 1988... Wiki concludes about azelaic acid: "However, no clinical studies have confirmed its efficacy in helping with hair loss." What also makes me sceptical: DS Labs uses about everything in their Spectral.DNC or Revita (COR) products that has ever been shown to prevent hair loss... But they don't use azelaic acid. They only use it in their skin care products like hydroviton.cr.

  • @antidogmatism I'm 99% sure it makes a big difference. It's the only topical compound that inhibits DHT (minus ketoconazole). Topical spirolactone, another popular hair loss topical, only supposedly deactivates DHT receptors. The main thing is the carrier that it is in. To date, there have been very few decent carriers that can get the Azelaic Acid to the hair follicles. PI's formula seems do it, again I don't have scientific data for you and can only go by my personal experience :)
