I have to say I completely agree with whoever called them manufactured. Their music is actually quite far from raw and has a very polished production. If anybody here has the time to listen to honest Post-Hardcore like At The Drive-In, Fugazi, BATS, Letlive, etc. They would see why anybody would call a (quite generic) band like Pulled Apart By Horses manufactured.

What has forming on your own got to do with 'manufactured'? I'm talking about their sound, not the creation of the band. The music is manufactured in the sense that it's Pseudo-raw. Generic distortion thrown on Drop D power chords, add some growls and you've 'manufactured' some accessible faux-post-hardcore. Maybe for quirkyness in marketing go to extensive lengths to make the videos more interesting than the songs.

Anyone know how 'genuine' they are because they come over very shiny polished, like a record company 'manufactured' band. With that video it's like The Monkeys for the 2010's. Good song & vid but seemed to go on a little long, interest drifted a bit in the second half. (C+) A pass but could do better.
