Lisa's story shows that individuals do make a diference, and that human suffering can and must be addressed by human beings: it is only through mutual help that our humanity shines like a precious gem.

This story reminds us that the actions of one person can seem like drops of rain that fall and disappear and have no impact at all.

And yet, they nourish that one small blade of grass.

And if others see it and are inspired and call on their government to act and use our great economic might for good . . .
