The GAA knew all along he was involved in cruelty to animals, but did nothing about it. It was common knowledge that he had a SADISTIC side,and was involved in this most horrendous cruelty. Because he was a GAELIC player, the main CATHOLIC daily newspapers turned a blind eye, even thought they knew what he did in his spare time.
