Oh my gosh, this is sooooo pretty. I can hear it over and over again. Just starting to learn opera. And hope one day to sing as good as you. When is your cd comming out? I would buy it right away. You have such great voice.

Well, everyone has their interpretations of this song, the artist maybe just wanted to put herself into the piece. You cannot quite call it Gluck's piece so much as it has strayed so much from it, but as an interpenetration of his piece this was very well done. Julia did a fine job of portraying the story through her voice, though the story is a bit... not really what the lyrics are putting out there, it's still very well put together. Brava.
love this version of the song. Very creative and you have a beautiful voice. I don't understand the video. This song is about Paris coming to Troy and finally meeting with his true love. This was kind of like the opposite lol. But i do like your version of the song and your voice.
@baggie211—Paris [no beard guy] doesn't come to Troy. He is the Prince of Troy. He visits a Greek king, sees the Queen, and then kidnaps her. That king [beard guy] goes to Troy to kill Paris and bring his wife back. After he kills Paris [this video's version], the guard harms him [in this version] and Helen runs to him.The song she sings is that her love waits for her king, she conjures him by painting, and calls to him in prayer that he will come. [Check the lyrics again and the Illiad.]

I always say that if people can't listen to the right classical music, then don't.
Don't ruin it with crappy background music.
