The original John Wannamaker's elevator was the unknown with SSL, which is actually traction. The 300A was added by the Sears & Roebuck Co. when they moved in. I have NO idea what the unknown is, and it is STUPID how they layed the bank out. The LEAST they could've done was put the elevator somewhere else in the store...

oops, Busted! I dont like either of these elevators, I hate that indicator in the traction elevator. It would have been better if it was original.

well I bet both went to P originally because when this was John Wannamaker, they were on all 4 floors. I think the 2nd elevator was modernized by KONE

You have to be careful when starting to film outside of the store. You may not have been caught if you didn't film while walking to the elevators.

i wanted to get the screwed up handicapped doors and a view of the store. I took the back isles to the elevator. Even if I did get caught (which I did twice), they were very nice about it. They let me film the elevator, but not the store.
