  • you are skilled sir.

  • But are you suppost to hit the cue ball with the pool stick first?

  • trains you to get scratches

  • @enjoijjj no it doesn't COCK-SUCCER, it trains how to make karom shots.

  • so what happens when you scratch???

  • Happens too fast to see @ 2:27 - but isn't what happens there a double-kiss? Thanks for uploading, by the way, a neat idea (and good practice) which I've so far only used for 9-Ball, but that probably makes sense for a variety of games.

  • i never heard it called 8 ball i hear pool and builurds (probabaly not spelled right)

  • thats a hard game

  • fun game. it does help a little. i think need to play it again soon

  • you're really good. does it take a perfect table/balls/stick to develop great skill at the game?

  • It doesn't hurt!

  • I know this game as "progressive 8 ball" and have used it for teaching when a student has problems with scratching. Every shot is in effect a scratch. Good shooting.

  • thats a trippy game..lol

  • Are no shoes a requiremnt for this game? But really this looks like such a great game to learn with.

  • feels really weird suddenly to be playing reversely. no offence but feels a little messy. haha :)

  • I introduced this to a couple people at the cafe where I play three days ago. It got a lot of quizzical looks and most people were compelled to try it. By today, it's all that most of the regulars are playing.

  • Interesting. What city are you in? If you like this game take a look at Russian Pyramid Billiards.

  • Chicago. More specifically, at the university of chicago. I'll check out russian pyramid billiards.

The craze over reverse 8 ball has since tapered off, but people still play it now and then.

  • Thanks for the vid, as always. I tried this with my friends and it was really fun. However, how do you play a scratched cue ball? When this happened we played ball in hand, but invariably we just placed the cue right next to the pocket, and with the right angle and speed sometimes you can just touch the cue and leave it there for sometimes 3 or 4 shots in a row, making it very easy.

  • forcefollow please answer me

in the shot you make in 1:40 minute of the video

the Q ball hits another ball but of the same kind and it got in a pocket. Is that a foul or you can even sometimes try to do hits like that

I'm asking you because I once after seeing this video I offered my friends to play but they wanted to know all the rules.

so if you can answer me it would be great :)

    Good luck, byeeeeeeee

  • So long as the object ball hits the cue ball first anything after that is okay. Think of it as BCA rules in reverse.

  • cool video...

  • good videos man. very helpfull. keep it up, thanks.

  • FORCEFOLLOW STILL does not answer me put it I WOULD LIKE TO SPANISH LANGUAGE IS THAT MY VIDEO THAT I consider Your SONO VERY GOOD BUT NOT UNDERSTAND CIUANDO WELL PLEASE explain that PONL Spanish subtitles. IF YOU ARE A TEACHER FOR THE POOL. THANK YOU.

  • I do not know spanish. Sorry. I don't have enough time to translate all of it. I am doing this in my spare time.

  • WTF! This game is so cool! Carom shots are important just like regular shots I'm goin to try this.

  • My Dad taught me this years ago, he called it "goofy pool".lol.Great position drill.

  • nice practice

  • wow, some of those shots were really impressive!

  • kind of like russian billiards

  • Except in Russian billiards every ball can be either the cue ball or the object ball.

  • Pretty cool, I'm going to try this!
