I think smb1 is easier than smb2

Most stages in smb are very easily mastered

however in smb2 most "hard" stages take awhile to master like momentum, nintendo or helix which is so friggin hard

Disagreed. If you're good enough to unlock the Master stages on SMB1, then it's easier. Probably because you only get one continue to make it to master (3 lives O_o) on SMB1 and you can get up to 99 on SMB2...
