Google: UK pondered China nuclear attack , the BBC article shows that UK was planning to attack China if China try to take over Hong Kong, which belongs to China, that was colonized by the British through their devious Opium War. US threaten China with nuke to prevent any interfere in the Korean War. Nuclear blackmail has been a tool to further political objective by powerful country on the poor. That why China develop nuclear weapon so fast as great expenses too.

The world is a strategic struggle between the rich country and the poor countries. The Western country fear nuclear Iran because it would make them think twice of attack a country with nuclear weapon. It is ironic that the only country on earth at test two nuke on civillian population are preventing people from having nuclear weapon. If I was Iranian leadership, I would definitely develop nuclear weapon and have a nuclear policy similar to China - that is no first use policy.

Personally I wish no countries had them but just because some do doesn't mean that people shouldn't be concerned with new ones being built in new countries. In the ideal world the sovereignty of a nation would be of utmost importance, perhaps there wouldn't even be countries. However, we don't live in that world. If U.S. intervention in Iran hurts the sensibilities of the Iranian people yet prevents a nuclear war or attack, ethically, I think it is justified. Would Iran use a nuclear weapon? I doubt it but the possibility has to be considered.

Israel occupied south lebanon for years and Iran helped us to have it back by sending us weapons, and they will do it for palestinian as well. Iran, who is already a significant player in the energy markets, wants to produce its own and be a supplier of nuclear fuel as well. West, along with China and Russia want to maintain a monopoly. Of course, West is hell bent on slowing Irans progress in any other field as well, hence the relentless demonization of Iran and anything Iranian in the western media.

NO! Iran should not have a nuclear weapons program. Why should they want to build them when every other nation is working to dismantle theirs?
