Robin Sage seems worse than their last test. US SF takes two years at the least. These guys are great though. All the coalition forces are amazing and we'll never fall to anybody else in the world :).
Though it is tough and harsh - I bet that "Great Espace" is also fun in a way - because it is the first time they can really test all their abilities under real circumstances...
I think that 'New Zealand being the battleground' refers to any threat of terrorism in their cities. I don't think anyone would consider NZ worth the time, cost and hassle of actually crossing the oceans to invade it.
Even if they did, Australia for one, would be standing right next to New Zealand's soldiers, as they always have done.
I doubt the camera crew were actually following them during 'Operation Great Escape', a bunch of camera operators following the patrol about would put them at a severe disadvantage.
nice little war of terror promotion "where even NZ could become a battleground"......what a joke! i guess they will be sending in the SAS to get all those maori terrorists who are hiding out at their training camps in the hills......
@shuggyman2 what war commin to our country are you talkin about exactly??? and how many countries in the last 2 hundred years have indicated any intention of invading NZ???? .....cmon mate even if it were true the size and capabilities of the NZ military force is limited and would not pose much of a problem for any foreign army wishing to get their hands on our last remaining supplies of pineapple lumps.
ok i know in the australian SAS training they physically beat you, they will promise you food water and that kind of stuff. they will ask for your name and details of your patrolll and if u answer anything you are kiked out of the course you just answer -i cant answer that sir-
@jujutsu6464 Dude, they can't physically beat you. The IO's freeze candidates and subject them to physical training among some things. They can't actually beat you.
Dude, of course they physically beat you. They do it both to test the soldiers, and to prepare them for what may happen if they were ever captured. (dur..)
suffice to say the pressure never relents, even after badging
