To conclude I would say that the song and surely the vid should push in a direction, where you free yourself from this achievement-oriented-society.

Yeh, i think this song and surely the video try to say, that sucess and safeness rely on mutuality but don't go hand in hand with happiness, while happiness is the quintessence of the real life.

Or the song tells us that you have no further reason to live, when you achieved all you wanted. But i don't think so, because he tries to commit suicide with the toaster and toys with the idea of doing it over the whole video.
