@Jojowierdo Technically, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a statistically better series as the amount of study done on it proves. BtVS has hidden meaning and is based more on real life than real-life shows. Both series' are different and have their good and bad bits.
Anyway, pretty gory staking effect. But every series has to have a difference.
@whyfighttheday The studies on the show doesn't mean its better, it just means there are studies on it. There doesn't have to be a message in a show to make it better than one without a message. It's a good thing but good doesn't always mean better. I didn't watch Buffy so I won't speak on it and compare it to True Blood because its not a fair fight. But in retrospect to all the shows I'm watching now, whatever the content, True Blood blows them all out of the water.

I've seen very few shows with this kind of gore. Dexter comes to mind, and Supernatural comes close sometimes.
