  • But repetitious prayer is a good thing, since medical science has proven that everything that is done repeatedly helps the subsconscious. For example, a weight lifter has to repeatedly do exercises in order for his muscles to grow. He can't just do one bench press, but he has to do repetitious exercises in order for his muscles to grow and expand. The same thing for prayer, that without repetition, well, the subconscious can't grow in strength and in size, because of lack of repetition.

  • "Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ," but ignorance of the Our Father Prayer leads to ignorance of scripture and of Christ's teachings... It takes me sometimes over an hour to say 'one Our Father prayer.' Sometimes I don't get enough time to finish it because I have run out of time. But people who don't pray the Our Father prayer properly, do not have a well knowledge of Christ's teachings.

  • so Basically "Father" what you are saying is that

when we Babble prayers to false gods its bad

but when we Babble prayers to God the Father its "okay"?

really... 10 years of seminary and you give that kind of homily?

plus dont "read" the homily "preach" it!

The soul problem of the catholic way of worship is that people come in and come out of the sanctuary completely unaware of what they just heard and done!

  • God Bless U, Father Bonaventure. Sad, that most people NO longer know of the ROSARY. "In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph".
