Has there actually been made a DVD with this show??? It looks pretty proffesional the way it is filmed, and could look as if it was going to be published as a DVD! I come from Denmark, and i have gone to London too see the show at the Dominion 3 times, and it rocks every single time! Beeing a HUUUGE Queen fan this show on a DVD would certainly fit nicely in my shelf with the original Queen-liveshow-DVD's! :-)

I think it's pathetic that schools are allowed to do WWRY so early! When it was on stage in it's 3rd year, schools were allowed to perform this, it just isn't right!! They should wait until the show increases popularity until about 12 years otherwise locals will be wasting their money watching a poxy amateur play instead of the proffessional one and that just ruins the magic of it all! i'm afraid i have to disagree with you. i performed in WWRY with my school three years ago and we were extremely successful. i think it's great what they're doing with the license in that it's completely non-profit, any profits the establishment who performs it makes go straight to charity. a really great way to raise a lot of money. and plus, i think the quality of a show just depends on the integrity and talent of the actors in it. you can throw a lot of money into a production and it can...

be ruined with weak acting. we had a pretty good budget when we performed it and managed to pull off a really successful play, or so said the reviews anyway. i've also seen another amateur production performed on a low budget and in my opinion it was even better than ours. much better in fact. all the audience were up on their feet singing along by the end.

Why are the rights released for WWRY for school plays? I know they are but why?? It;s still going strong worldwide! Usually when a show increases budget and hits in the box office, the rights do not get released for about 10 years time. WWRY has only been around for 5 years now yet they allow schools to perform this! I saw schools perform this when WWRy was only on the stage for 3 years! Releasing the rights too early is extremely rare. What made them do this to WWRY but none of the others like

Schools are allowed to do it actually, because if you look up something called "Schools will rock you" its allowing schools to do this musical, but the schools are actually allowed to call the musical "We Will Rock You." You still have to pay for rights to do it, so its not copyright at all.
