i truely believe that they have gone so deep into their minds that they cant really get out. im not saying thats bad. i myself am working on my mind. but to get to the level they are at is a hard road to walk down. its a mystery on how they even did it way before they are even old... like old old
The boys of Tool recently said they might just do a movie passed on the stuff we see in there videos. I'd be at the theatre to see it the midnight showing the night before it opens.
Did you ever think those are my opinions based on listening to them and that ive tried to be open minded? I will admit I was harsh, but why should you be harsh to me? If anyone is offended then im sorry, but thats how I feel about them. As for you calling me a a-hole, does that not make you one as well?
fall out boy sucks huge balls. Singer sucks live, bassist has no clue what hes doing, drummer is unoriginal and boring, guitarist is the same, and they have very little live effects for the show. Tool > Fall out boy
I'm not a Fallout Boy fan or anything, but you should really ease up there man. Yeah they aren't the greatest but in some people's eyes they are and in bashing that persons views, does that really make you any more original then their music? Seriously, people are so quick to be ass holes today they never sit back and recognize different tastes. So please, go fuck yourself and think next time you close-minded fuck.
A lot of people (self proclaimed OGTs) claim that perhaps 1996s dark, low light shows were the pinnicle of tools career.. i think this tour was the pinnicle! A perfect balance of the old dark tool and the new almost space-like tool shows (which i absolutely love!). I have loved tool for so many years.. and i absolutely love the 10k days tour shows, it beats any tour before, but this one.. because in this one.. Maynard voice was still strong enough here to sing the harder songs...
Stinkfist is one of my top 8 favorite tool songs, but this version of it just narrowly beats out Salival's Pushit for the top Tool song in my book. So fucking amazing
awe, this poor child has no idea what good music is, dont worry kidpwnz..bands like hawthorne heights and fall out boy come and go all the time, youll have plenty of fav bands
awesome... the extended middle breakdown is epic. danny's hands are moving soooo fast on the hi-hat...i just wish the camera had focused in on it!... bravo TOOL.
No this was just an interlude they introduced live to change the song up a bit. Some same notes as the intro to ticks and leeches hence why it sound familiar. Adam does improvise on it though so it varies through each performance as I far as I've noticed.
To me atleast, they always play this song first, and it kinda says to me it means that the audience needs to open their minds, bend over and figuratively take Tools message up the ass, its for you own good :) I am probably wrong, but its not about fisting
I'd have to say Tool and Rage Against the Machine, if they ever reunited, would cause the sky to part and acid to rain down from above and base to overflow from the river banks.
I think they should extend it every time they do the song, it adds to it and we get Danny Carrey banging on thoughs weird drums that where first at the beggening on the CD.
yep i agree with u-Tool and NIN should tour.both band's lyrics r rather hateful yet "non-loud".they dont shout out the lyrics as wad most metal bands does .. Im not insulting metal tho =)both NIN and tool r alike in terms of lyrics and sounds!
2 i am german. and while i dont think tool and rammstein would make a good co-headlining tour, rammstein's lyrics are not ridiculously horrible. certainly some songs are intentionally funny- tool's done the same thing. but they deal with complex emotional and psychological topics.
and the way you worded your statement is belittling. it's like saying 'if you knew half of what i say i know, you'd know that you're wrong.'
You know what would be the greatest Tour Ever? If Tool and Rammstein toured together. Between Tool's visuals and Rammstein's burning, I'd sell anything I have to see that.
Wel is your scotish tat wud be a good idea! but if your Irish like me and its only the second time they'v ever played in Ireland then you shud go see them at the point on the 22 of Novenber! TOOL!!!!!! You a primas fan?
"What did Maynard say before they did that huge guitar/drum solo? "
For the most part, he quotes Suspicious Minds - Elvis.
the first line is: Caught in a trap, I can't walk out, 'cause I love you too much baby. Second line: Those white lines/lies, third: Running through my mind, fourth: You know I need you too much baby.
Awesome quality on sound and video. Plus, it helps that it's Tool. They're one of the only bands that never fail to bring an outstanding performance live.
"New York City. I'm not convinced. Is this or is this not New York City?" MJK is the ultimate troll. Great performance.

What has me in doubt is that Maynard is really wanting to start it side project Puscifer, he problebly would want to do that more.

Maynard is not a God. He's a good singer, but he's far from God/a God. Now get your nose out of his ass.
