They refuse to mime/lipsync when the TV stations make them so they take the piss and be stupid. Its basically a big F YOU to the TV station for making them mime. There are heaps of videos of them doing it.

@TheKrazyhack If Muse does their traditional "piss-take" as they've been called, they'll still get a show, but seriously if I was at a concert and they had to playback I'd run up to the host or tv station producers, whoever made them do it, punch them in the face, plug in the instruments (plug in baby, haha), go to my seat if I have one and enjoy an actual Muse concert. But that's just my opinion...

On several occasions, Muse have performed on TV and been told that they have to lipsync (rather than actually playing) so, they like to get their own back. Muse always perform genuinely other than these occasions.
