That last 3D like episode where they had to get the scientist was beast. The scene where they were running through the corridor shooting everything in sight was the best shooting scene I've ever seen.
i still don't get it why some people hate anime...some of u here by the look's , u don't even watch one anime movie or series. and what's the big deal of halo becoming anime , it's still halo and some time the japanese story telling is some time better.
@asuka312100 i saw 3 parts of the legends series the were decent anime, the others were dodgy and didnt really live up to the story that halo had, like the style was fine but making it too much involved with Japanese living styles kind of pinged me off

Legends was okay. They REALLY shouldn't have had TOEI do something though.That one sucked, they should have had MADHOUSE or Digital Frontier do something. Whenever an American wants to try and do anime, they always go to Studio 4°C. The animation is alright, but the entire feel was mediocre, though, I think that was because of ADV's English cast.
If you're a Halo freak, it's something you should look into though.
the reason why it's an anime is because the original idea of Halo and the Master Cheif came from some guy in Japan, then Bungie bought the title and worked on it, now the Japanese guy made som anime stuff on Halo with the help of Bungie.
I agree @MsMaxmo bungie should do it themselves instead of the japanese raping it before our very eyes. I half expected the Spartan in the first picture to yell "pik-achu". Darn anime artists screwing everything American.

The short movies are very well but sad too, remember the episode with the Girl in the Red armor, remembering how she met her own clone? How she lost her own life to a clone? That was sad, the shadow side of the Spartan project has never been mentione din the game(or did i miss something?)
the cloning program was heavily covered in the Fall of Reach novel. the clones they use are Flash Clones, which are inherently unstable and usually die within a few years. no one ever discovered the fact that they were clones, and as far as public records were concerned all of the spartans were dead before they ever went into combat.

Surely the moderators should go to hell for removing copyrighted videos from youtube, forcing people to buy the DVDs instead of watching it for free. Damn them to hell indeed, mr snoopy.

And then there are all the new vehicles like the Prowler and Brute Chopper and the Hornet. And even more new things in Halo wars and ODST (no more going Rambo)

Well, I don't think that her armor is a total loss, but it could use a bit more texture. I think it's mainly the helmets size and ther armors size though.
as one person said the babysitter is made by one of 5 the guy that is behind most of it made more of a story driven show and has been known to show off a charater's traits but we just have to see the rest of it and what the other four do for the actual look each has their own style and i think that will make it more interesting from the point of it isn't just one group doing it. as for the babysitter it seems funny how some were but the fight i wash we could do in game!

I love how the anime-lovers thumbs down anyone who even mentions how Halo and anime don't mesh well. Anime is fine on it's own but keep it the fuck away from Halo. Way too often does anime depict the enemy as a bunch of incompetent meatsacks whose sole existence is to die to make the the main lead look badass and this fails spectacularly in Halo when you stop to consider that humanity is LOSING. Take that away and you'll reveal that at its core it's sole existence is to fanwank over the Spartans
I'm in agreement. The idea of making a short series within the background of Halo was a great idea, but mixing it with Anime was a bad one. I've seen the The Babysitter Preview, and the mixture just makes it abnoxious at certain characters' inaccuracy & unintelligent reactions (I point this in particular at the ODST Sniper, who doesn't seem to even have the common sense of a civilian, letalone a soldier).
But it has beaten my dim expectations, so PERHAPS it can impress in one way or another.
I completely agree with you on halo and anime not being good together. You are right on how humanity was losing the war, but the spartans had ridiculously high kill ratios, master chief had thousands of kills. Put that into retrospect, the enemies werent nearly incompetent meatsacks but the spartans were capable of making them look like so. (i took all of my information from halopedia)

wth? game developers don't even give the ratings, and half of them don't even like the ratings because when they're games get an M when they were expecting a T, and btw, stop generalizing my lifestyle or my opinions, and i know you aren't talking crap to any of the kids in here, but you are talking crap about people you don't even know. Yes they make the ratings for a reason, but it's a reccomendation, it doesn't mean that kids can't play it, or else they wouldn't sell them.

dude, wolfePR, don't base a game off it's rating, like wth dude? it doesn't really matter, all it is rated m for is cussing, which isn't a big deal, you can turn the tv to almost any channel nowadays and find profanity, and blood. It's not a big deal, halo 1 didn't even have blood. and there was barily any cussing in that game. just shutup and stop talking crap to little kids about how their parents are crap when you don't even know them.

as one person said the babysitter is made by one of 5 the guy that is behind most of it made more of a story driven show and has been known to show off a charater's traits but we just have to see the rest of it and what the other four do for the actual look each has their own style and i think that will make it more interesting from the point of it isn't just one group doing it. as for the babysitter it seems funny how some were but the fight i wash we could do in game!

To anyone saying how Halo and Anime don't mix: I don't think that the combination of Halo and anime has ever been tried before, so why don't you relax, and wait for Legends to come out before you say something like that? If you still don't like the combination after you've seen the whole thing, then you have a right to your opinion. To anyone who has been judging this solely on the preview of "The Babysitter": please keep in mind that that was created by only one of the five production studios.

Okay, I'm 12, and I grew up with Halo, first played Combat Evolved when I was 4 or 5, call me a noob, I don't care.
And, this concept art looks beast. My friends are more into anime than I am, so I think they'll be the judge on whether or not this is anime. As long as it's Halo, I'll watch it.

I love how the anime-lovers thumbs down anyone who even mentions how Halo and anime don't mesh well. Anime is fine on it's own but keep it the fuck away from Halo. Way too often does anime depict the enemy as a bunch of incompetent meatsacks whose sole existence is to die to make the the main lead look badass and this fails spectacularly in Halo when you stop to consider that humanity is LOSING. Take that away and you'll reveal that at its core it's sole existence is to fanwank over the Spartans

I'm in agreement. The idea of making a short series within the background of Halo was a great idea, but mixing it with Anime was a bad one. I've seen the The Babysitter Preview, and the mixture just makes it abnoxious at certain characters' inaccuracy & unintelligent reactions (I point this in particular at the ODST Sniper, who doesn't seem to even have the common sense of a civilian, letalone a soldier).
But it has beaten my dim expectations, so PERHAPS it can impress in one way or another.

I completely agree with you on halo and anime not being good together. You are right on how humanity was losing the war, but the spartans had ridiculously high kill ratios, master chief had thousands of kills. Put that into retrospect, the enemies werent nearly incompetent meatsacks but the spartans were capable of making them look like so. (i took all of my information from halopedia)
