Divine was the greatest hits album so really Bed n Breakfast was a bonus video for the video compilation. They had 23 singles up to the orig release of Divine, more were added on re-issues. I believe this was planned as a single by their record company but the band protested!

2 ways this could have been made the best song EVAR:

The 'wooooaaaah he was he was the bed and breakfast man' bit should have been more than 10 seconds at the very end of the song

and

that bit should have been sung by 2 people in a round, the other one would have started singing 'woaaah' when the first one got to 'man' - that way you wouldn't have had to have ma-a-aan stuttring to make it fit the music

it's still a brilliant song, it's just frustratingly imperfect

@iandear i joined there fan club at 10 years of age, they were the first band i saw live, in Manchester, when i was 12. I have the little madness M tatooed on my ankle, with it,s little hat on top!! When they split up, i was in there top 10 members, who got sent lots of signed stuff from them;) I think there best work was there first 2 albums, obviously, just my opinion!! I saw them just before Christmas play Razor Blade Alley is one of their finest, in my humble opinion.
