Could new taxes come at a worse possible time, when the country is in a recession. This would nearly accomplish the same thing, but without putting us deeper in debt.

The Fed Pays less and everybody gets health care. Too bad that the State Governments now have to pay for it. I feel that we need health care reform, but this is not the way to do it. The government is already buried 10 ft under our own debt. How are we going to pay for this, new taxes thats how. Could new taxes come at a worse possible time, when the country is in a recession. Why not shy away from big government and rather offer tax breaks and incentives for insurance companies to lower premiums and costs. This would nearly accomplish the same thing, but without putting us deeper in debt.

Medicare has a $35 billion unfunded liability. This bill puts another 15 million people on that program. Plus 16 million more people will get subsidized by your tax dollars going to insurance companies. Medicare cost 100 times what its estimates in 1965. It is broke. Do you really believe this bill won't increase the deficit by trillions. Please we the people are not dumb. I believe there should be universal dinner coverage. I have a 5 year old child who wants to eat lobster. He must have lobster. I take him to a lobster store and bought him a lobster. It cost me 1000 dollars. I believe tax payers should pay for my bill.

I had a feeling in 1998 that the horny-hick -- America's FIRST first-black-president was our nation's last president. I mean, as anything that could be justifiably defined as the USA under the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution.
