You are totally right about the alcohol. I quit drinking 6-7 years ago when I was training in wushu hardcore. I was always thirsty and my body was really clean even though I still ate meat then (salads with meat on top). To this day when I drink 1-2 drinks the hang over process is accelerated and I quickly get a headache from dehydration. You can milk one neat scotch all night and that is ok. Any more than one beer and I feel like crap. NA beer or soda with lime lets you have a good time!
@patryksky you eatin raw paleo? How's it working out for you? I am and loving it but it's hard to just eat meat, fruit and veggies. But man it works wonders.
Seems like it is all about keeping to one system till your body gets used to it, stops detoxing and starts building. SecretsofLongevity's interview with a RV bodybuilder said he just kept losing weight until he did no sugar for 6 months. then we started putting on the muscle with adding calories. I have noticed this too .but I tried no sugar for 3 days (from lots of fruit) and crashed. Now ive slowly transitioned and the only sugar I have is berries in a morning smoothie
yeah, and more sustained too. I also went from losing weight and only having some stamina on more 811 to rebuilding strength and keeping stamina. pull ups have went from like 5 to 25-30 after about a month of eating lower sugar.My diets basically: smoothie with nut-milk with tea base blended with some berries, coconut oil, salt, soaked chia seeds, spices, and usually a superfood. then a big salad for dinner usually with a seed pate or avocado. usually a snack in between
yeah, i eat green smoothies, salads (w/ fat) & fruit all day... & when I drink, VERY OCCASIONALLY,I have to limit myself to ONE glass of wine. Anything more, & I pay for it. the last time I drank i didn't even finish the glass. but I'm so clean, that I still felt the buzz off half a glass! lol. I agree with you 100%. You have to be consistant. and I love what you said that being habitual is more important. I'll have to remember that when I binge and feel super guilty about it. thanks!
Cool, I wish I lived close to the beach. We don't have raw food restaurants where I live as far as I know but that's mainly because I live in the Mid-West.
If you have the desire then you should... While this (Raw Food movement) is just gaining momentum the opportunity is huge... That said I have no interest in running one, just eating at one. :)

@ChasinTranes how many calories are you eating a day?
RawFoodVeganSungazer 1 year ago
@RawFoodVeganSungazer
around 1900-2500 depending on the day. I did a few rough calculations last week on a few different days.
