@setapartkid Absolutely. think of it as a TON of stomp boxes and a switching system combined together. All the stomp boxes sound amazing in this processor.
@rikkbeatty Because I got a lot of reviews that multi-effects are not as good as stomp-boxes, they say easily to get covered up by noises during live shows.
@setapartkid I can only speak from experience. I use the RP1000 along with other pedals through my setup live. The RP1000 has a Stomp Loop that allows you to place other pedals "Pre" or "Post" in the effects chain. To me, it sounds no different through my gear than if I had a hundred pedals on the floor to choose from.
@rikkbeatty All right, since you said that, I'll have no worries about multi-effect. I think think i'm gonna save money to get 1 too, thanks for your info, man!! =)
Hi Rikk i just want to ask you. for how long how you been playing? also, what is the difference between RP1000 and RP500? are they have the same Sounds? man I really admire you how good you are!!! you are totally awesome man. Well take care and Happy christmas and God bless you too
Hi Sam, I have been playing for 20 years. Thanks for the compliments & Merry Christmas to you too! The RP500 & RP1000 have the same brain & same tones. The difference is that the RP1000 is also a switching system that allows you to switch back & forth from your amplifier's preamp to the preamps inside the processor. The RP1000 has a Stomp Loop as well that allows you to use effects pedals you already own & can bring them in & out of the effects chain per preset.
oh ok that's great! now i understand a little bit more. I{ was thinking to buy this pedal because i this new year im going to start playing for the church and i dont have a long time playing i have only 4 years and im really like my fender strat made in mexico. I want to get better gear but you know there is no enough money yet. Anyway, thanks for you answer and one day i will learn like you. i hope you do the best in your life as a musician and take care and enjoy with your family& God bless u
do you use any kind of power amp or do you just go direct in i was thinking of doing that my self cause i am tired of lugging my hlaf stack around I have an old GNX 1 PLan to upgradr to a 500 soon though and btw awsome playing dude
For this performance I just went direct. The RP1000 was clipping though because of where they had the levels on the board. Normally the sound is MUCH more organic. Normally live I use an Orange Thunderverb 50 full stack and the RP1000. It has a pre-amp loop that allows you to switch back and forth between your amp's preamp and the internal preamp of the 1000 and since it is plugged into your effects loop and amp input, it routes all your effects for you as well!
compare to stomp-box pedals, does it have a solid tone just like the stomp-box pedals?
