Unreilistic at parts, but an amazing si-fi action movie with entertaning antagonists and one super-powered protagonist, I am Number 4 is definetly a movie for si-fi and action lovers. Filled in with some sad sceens and a few slower moving parts, and some un-natural acting secondary characters. 8 1/2 out of 10
I really loved this movie. My grandpa talked me into watching it with him at a theater, and I felt I owed him so we watched it together and I loved it about as much as he did. Although we did agree some parts were unrealistic, mainly with the helicopters flying so low near the train, and the guys not falling off, but it still makes a fun movie to watch, and is a good thriller. I lost some of my popcorn on the floor with a few scenes, which is rare. 5 Word Summary: Interesting and a must see 9/10

Not only do the new action stars shine in this film, like Terry Crews (The 6th Day) and Jason Statham (Crank, The Transporter) but you get an awesome scene with three epic celebs: Arnold S. (Terminator, Conan) Mr. Stallone (co-writer and director of this film), and Bruce Willis (Pulp Fiction, Die Hard). If you love explosions, violence, & 80's action flicks, this is the film for you. If not, then go see something awful.

I am a full time train engineer and I went to see Unstoppable a couple weeks ago. As I talked to fellow co-workers about it, the mistakes made in it were a blessing, because you cannot get a total understanding of locomotive operations, and in some parts railroad operations. I will admit though, overall, a great action movie, and it was nice to see a movie that fell into my career field (it was FAR better than Atomic Train, which was terrible in my opinion).

I like the new HD changes to Movie Night, Jon! Looks better - looks awesome! It's so crisp and clear! It really makes a difference. I prefer "The Taking of Pelham 123". "Unstoppable" is too redundant the fact that they both star Denzel Washington in the same basic role is just short of re-hashing.

To me Unstoppable seems to be a remake of Atomic Train. A train barreling out of control towards a town, but instead of hazardous materials, Atomic Train had a nuclear bomb on it.
@Numb3rsfan The only difference being that Unstoppable is based off an actual incident. Crazy 8 is an SD40 that carried the strange number 8888. Sure, the movie is very action packed, but it's not close to the real accident. At least it tries :)
Expendables is an very old school action type flick. It was not worthy of Oscars, but it was very fun and had a few scenes that will make you chuckle as well as the usual good action. easily a 8/10
The Expendables was awesome. It 's not trying to be anything else than pure action and a homage to the entire genre. Stallone's passion for the genre resulted in The Expendables, and I love it. Best movie of 2010 - 10/10

Expendables made me angry. The misleading trailer led me to believe I'd be seeing a fun action move with all of my favorite stars that requires my belief to be suspended. Unfortunately, I saw an uninspired action/drama that focuses on Stallone and Statham while ignoring the presence of the other actors. I did end up suspending my disbelief when I saw how disgusting Stallone looked and was required to follow a love subplot involving him. Jet Li gets his ass kicked--a lone, refreshing moment. 3/10
Eat Pray Love - not as exciting or thrilling as I would have liked as it is based on a true story but Julia Roberts is still as brilliant and as believable as ever - 7/10

Jon, I like the old MN intro better. I miss the rotating yellow graphic which brought out your title better. The new intro has too simple of a background. And you can laugh at me but is there no motion blur on your MN graphic when you zoom in? :D

You should get a few different background images to use, same for music, just to spice things up a bit. Wouldn't matter if you just rotated between the same 3 images/backgroundmusic or whatever, as long as you don't keep using the same stuff over and over every show :P

Expendables made me angry. The misleading trailer led me to believe I'd be seeing a fun action move with all of my favorite stars that requires my belief to be suspended. Unfortunately, I saw an uninspired action/drama that focuses on Stallone and Statham while ignoring the presence of the other actors. I did end up suspending my disbelief when I saw how disgusting Stallone looked and was required to follow a love subplot involving him. Jet Li gets his ass kicked--a lone, refreshing moment. 3/10

I know where Unstoppable took place. It took place around altoona pennsylvania. I forget exactly where it happened. But it was neat to WATCH THE FILM MAKERS MAKE THE MOVIE.

The expendables was a very good movie there was alot of great action scenes and effects although i was disapointed that arnold swartzannegger was only in it for a minute. 7/10

The Expendables was exactly what you paid to see a homage to the classic action flicks of the 80s and 90s to expect more is just plain stupid. the only problems are the camera was to blurry during the action sequences. 9/10

Jon, I like the old MN intro better. I miss the rotating yellow graphic which brought out your title better. The new intro has too simple of a background. And you can laugh at me but is there no motion blur on your MN graphic when you zoom in? :D

dude you gotta critique Legends of the Guardians O_O!!! It was like the only movie in my life that i ever decided to pay to see twice for :[]!!! It really did kick Avatars ass 9001 times over. Speaking of which, you should also critique the Avatar The Last Airbender Movie because Shamylan really effed up a good show and it needs to be brought out to the table.

Expendables was truly what the trailer promised, an over the top and ridiculous action movie. It was fun to watch but at times the cast themselves showed their bad acting too much, Stallone is nearly unintelligible half the movie which made the part with Arnold (who is also unintelligible) extremely hard to follow, other than that it was good eye candy
