not bad, but your no Derek Trucks or Warren Haynes. Your basically playing the same lick over and over. I know you can do it, lets hear some of your licks.
hardly.. but I love their style. I'm just too old to drop the pick. They play in the tradition of the Allman's and what people call southern rock, but really since rock started in the south..isn't it just rock ??
This song is very intricate. Derek is in open D(open 1step down) Warren is playing the tough part(hard to cover)in E44standard(full step down) and so a third guitar would overpower one of these parts
It takes TWO sliders, one in Warren's tuning(e44 or drop D-scaled down) and Derek is in D.. I'm not sure it sounds very good solo- I tried it. I'll do one part if you do the other ;)
Thanks for the compliment, bro. Coming from you it's very nice. Derek uses an open tuning I have been in for years, (except in E) I didn't even try Warren's tuning(not sure I want to)and HE is playing the melody.
Good job! Man, I've been trying to play this song for a while, but i'm just a begginer in slide guitar so, if it's not too much to ask, could you pass me the tab? I would really appreciate. Thanks.
yeah..it was weird, I reall didn't want to be too loud to cover up Derek and Warren's parts, so I just mainly did the backing part. It was fun though !! Rate Me Zeke !! I can take it !!!Derek's lead is way quiet
what tuning is this song out of?

Good one csason. You've got that one down, that's for sure. I want to hear you do it without the boys. You don't need 'em.

if I would have taken part of the break for a lead, it would have drowned one of those guys out..so I tried to stay invisible.
