I can look it up, but what does the 72 weigh? ISN"T it about 4200 lbs... I have my dads (identical to yours) and not sure how 'healthy' to build the motor, THE original 351 4v is gone - I have a 400M for it, I would like an HONEST 13 or low 14 second car. (driver). 500 ponies at the flywheel get me there?

Hood is off for some tunnjing and to show a friend the motor, those are not decals but magnets , just had them there temporily, If i decide to run for cotengecy I will put my decals on the sides .

It looks as though a lot of us were Torino owners at one time or another! I'm fifty-one years old now; my own first car was a 1972 Gran Torino sedan. I paid $1995.00 for it used with about 59k miles on it. Mine had the 351 Cleveland with a 2bbl carb. Very nice car; metallic brown paing with all kinds of side trim and a beautifully chromed rear bumper that you could see your face in! Being a kid, I proceeded to destroy it the moment I bought the thing! Before that, I drove Mom's '65 Ford Custom!
