  • Less government, MORE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

  • More people need to do what he is doing!! I would but I'm medically disabled due to a disease affecting both of my feet! I AM IN FAVOR OF MEDICAL MARIJUANA being LEGALIZED in the LIVE FREE OR DIE state! I love the concept of having more freedom but I may have to move to a state where pot is legal for sick people!

  • Plus, I should have made it clear that I'm for the legalization(at least decriminalization like MA)of marijuana in general(not just for the sick)!!

  • Andrew fucking rocks.

  • Hi intrepgun.I look for the complexes to come on board. They have alot of the technology and logistics needed for a cannabis industry. Why would they do that? Why does the Berlin wall come down?An oil tycoon build a multi billion dollar wind farm?Detroit build hybrid vehicles?

  • The NH cops are probably smoking Andrew's pot in the back of the station.

Many kudos to Andrew for his very courageous stance and his brave act of civil disobedience. I hope this makes national news -- or at least the Alex Jones network. I don't partake in "the devil weed" either, but I agree with his stance and actions 100%. The drug laws in this country do much greater harm than they ever did good. It's criminalized a very significant portion of an entire generation of Americans.

  • Regulate to monitor quality of cannabis products for construction, clothing, food, and recreation. Tax cannabis products to pay for the education and regulation. Also,I don't see the goverment decriminalizing or legalizing cannabis without a tax.

  • the quality of cannabis products and better forms of cannabis products would be hindered by government involvement. it would give rise to however many ABC bureaucracies as they could possibly squeeze out.

do you really expect the government to suddenly start being honest about cannabis without the timber, oil, printing, textile, pharma complexes being behind it? i just can't really fathom that happening, as great a first, tiny step as it could be.

  • Imagine if all the freestaters gathered in front of the court house holding bags of weed?

  • Andrew Carroll is a hero!

  • Courageous civ-dis! Anyone who missed the after party, it was in the police station :P

  • ... and the arresting officer picked up the trash... fitting, isn't it?

  • The tipping point has been reached.

    Cannabis

    Educate

    Regulate

Tax Thank you Andrew Carrol. Is there a defense fund for Mr.Carrol?

  • why tax? why regulate? education would remove the need for those things.

  • I agree with Cecaria that it should be taxed and regulated. At least if it's going to be packaged and sold like cigarettes, with a certificate of quality and all the appropriate warning labels.

I think if you're growing some for your own recreational purposes it could be dealt with similar to way home brews are (thank Jimmy Carter for decriminalizing the home brew.)

The wacky liberal communists at our southern border have taken a baby step in the right direction.

  • packaged and sold like cigarettes... filled with harmful added chemicals like cigarettes, marketed to specific groups of people to create 'class' barriers like cigarettes.

government doesn't know what to do with cannabis. big business doesn't know what to do with cannabis. leave cannabis alone. does the government need to rigidly control and tax bananas? you can get high from bananas. you can get high from TONS of things.

pushing for a tax is not pushing for freedom nor proper reform. it's sad

  • Government probably doesn't know what to do with cannabis, I agree. It is a topic that is off the table, stigmatized.

But if there's a legal buck to be made on it (and supposedly it is VT's #1 cash crop) you can bet on big business getting involved.

In that case government should step in to tax and regulate.

  • oh. ok. i agree with that. government should step in and tax and regulate the big businesses that will undoubtedly come sucking around. i think that's the perfect compromise.

  • I held it too. I didn't get arrested though. Maybe all of us who did hold it should go back for the principle of it. Anyone?

  • I was there too. I guess I didn't recognize you. I tried to introduce myself to everyone, but missed you. Oh well, I'm finally home and not leaving NH.

  • I'm so happy you are here now!

Are you coming to Social Sunday at Vendetta?

Aubern and I will be there. 4PM.

    Hope to see you!

  • I'll make it back to Keene, sometime... when there is an announced activity. My trailer is still on my Jeep. (An excuse for not driving much until I find a place to store it.

  • You know... I saw you at the burrito place but failed to recognize you other than to say to myself "that guy looks familiar". I was the loud a-holish one. ;)

  • wow great to have u here tx

does anyone have a count as to how many have moved to keene for freedom...since burke's outburst?

  • I'm not in Keene. I'm renting the room Andrew just vacated in Manch. I'm not sure of a count, but I keep meeting people who say they just got to NH too... some of them just moved to NH without ever signing-up. I doubt anyone will ever know how many of us are here.

  • Burke the Jerk

  • thanks for the report dave!
