Nice sound, I've just bought the Head version of this, (model 1964), I can't get this sort of tone out of it yet, only had chance to try it once and about killed myself with the volume.
The more you turn up a Marshall...the better they sound. Not like a Fender which has diminishing returns after 6. Quit trying to play clean out of that SOB. If nothing else, dime the amp and use the volume on the guitar to give you the cleans you desire. By far this is my favorite tone of yours Mark. When you're ready for some Mullard valves...you'll be shocked at how much better an already killer amp can sound.

This is the best tone I have heard on your demos so I agree with you there. Probably a Fender is better for clean tones, ask the skydog, he has both!

The Lead and Bass don't have a master volume, its a 1987 and the best bit.. it has got Mullards in it!
