it's most likely not likely to be an Armed Response Van as Standard vans aren't very Protective and the Met don't use vehicles like that for CO19 purposes and if it was a High Profile Vehicle it would be escorted by a Marked Police Unit or more than one Unmarked Escort....it may be an Anti-Terror Unit from Security Service maybe??

Certainley looks like one of CO19s vans for carrying their specialist firearms kit about..

Won't carry the yellow dots as it isn't classed as an Armed Response Vehicle, and are not usually escorted by marked ARVs, as they can make adequate progress themselves with their own emergency warning equipment..

The van is the equlivant of a USA S.W.A.T van, it carries guns and armour and shields for things like big raids.

Not an unamrked riot van or observation unit, its a transport vehicle for the CO19 unit transporting other firearms which they may need in different situations and other equipment or even the officers themselves.

I think its an umarked transport van. They use them sometimes for transporting police to do a drugs raid on houses and cases similar to that.

Im sure thats what it is. Doesnt stand out if they have to wait for the owner to return to the premesis.

I think I've found out what the van's for, the van is almost invisible so it can sneak up on houses for drug busts and other things as a marked police van would stick out a mile off for obvious reasons.

I have seen things like this up here in the north, unmarked vans with blues and flashing head lights, followed closely by another unmarked or some times marked, they never seem to be in a big rush. that makes me think blue light training ?
