with all that effort put into this video, you failed to include a sample of a working product at the end? awesome, now i have to go around looking for it. thats just great!
i also have a 30 gal bowfront with reef, seahorses, pipefish and a fire shrimp, also a 75 gal with no reef, a white spotted eel, naso and kole tang, and maroon clownfish.......
@lafishguy correct me if i am wrong but about 3 comments down. Is twofacemovies not asking to put 2-3 jellys in one regular size fish bowl (goldfish bowl in other words)?
hey I, i am assumming they are talking about the Blue Blubbers and a modified BiOrb from JellyfishArt. Blue Blubbers are NOT good choices and if its a BiOrb then they should talk to JellyfishArt.
@lafishguy yea i looked at his page and his set up for his crayfish doesnt seem like he would have a modified biorb from jellyfishart, i highly doubt 2-3 jellys would be fine with just aeration in a bowl......... so he would be losing quite a bit of money.......
hey OY, the Jelliquariums are not just regular aquariums. these are specialized tanks that use unique designs to introduce and exit the water without damaging the jellies, and at the same time keeping the jellies suspended for best viewing. there is also a significant amount of labor involved. the Cabinets are top notch furniture quality. its all adds up.
Lafish is it ok if I house 2-3 jellies in a regular fishbowl cuz im planning to get the blueblubber from my local petshop and ive seen them swim doesnt seem like theyll get stuck on the sides
hey T, i have not had much success with the Blubbers, but for a couple months you should be able to keep them. your bowl will need some aeration. consider contacting Jellyfish Art.
@lafishguy it just seems like you should be more sure about saying go ahead to a commenter, even if its about some damsels cycling a tank...... I just felt like you could have said dont buy them instead of they dont do good lol
ive been a fan of your vids for some time and hope to see more! hey maybe youve just been overwhelmed and didnt have the time to research the guys post, but i know you always give good advice so keep it up!
hey D, no Clownfish juveniles just need a slow water flow. where the P&E tank become slick is its means of seperating the new hatched juveniles from their parents.
la fishguy, you should try and sponsor your videos on reef forums, might bring in some extra business. i bet people in la would see the vids and want your services

@0YtsanBlowout0 yeah they are a kreisel tank so thy are excellent for long term jellyfish keeping. plus most fit sea nettles which is a bonus.

hey j, do clownfish larvae need to be suspended? couldn't they just swim freely in a rectangular aquarium? thanks for all the help,
Derek

could this be used to breed clowns
TLwalshz 2 years ago
hey TL, it could be used for clownfish but the Maternity Chamber is a bit small for most clowns... and that could be increased.

Lmao I thought you meant clowns literally
then I realized it was the fish.
