I think anarchy is freedom. Today we arent free in the US, we just have more freedom than others. For all of human history we have had different forms of government but they all end up changing. There's protests happening all over the US. Looks like it's happening all over the world. We'd never know it here because our news media has a blackout of all these protests. So to make a long term world we either have to make laws and more laws. OR we can be what our ancestors once were. Men living on the Earth. It really is very simple - too much global trade destroys locals - everywhere. The economy must serve the people, not just a few people. I say its time for even trade - this means no multi- million dollar profit to the people over you - the ones who don't deserve the exhorbitant money they get paid while their workers' families starve. The Greeks must stand up and recreate their system. God and family must come first. A larger percentage of the money must be invested in Greece for Greeks.

So the solution in Greece is very simple: 1) throw politicians and high rank public servants to jail, 2) fuck the rich, 3) cut the public sector, 4) tax the banks, 5) give money to small bussiness and low-paid workers and 6) give incentives to big bussiness to invest in renewable resources (300 days sun) and eco-tourism

Why do idiots on the internet think that social democracy, taxes or welfare = socialism? Socialism entails much more than just a taxing scheme. It is a totally different radical change in society where the means of production are in workers control, either direct or through the government. That has not happened in Greece. Greece is a capitalist country and this problem was a capitalist problem. Just because Greece had a social democracy, it doesn't mean it wasn't capitalist.

The rest of capitalism is individualistic crap. You can have a socialist state without workers' control over means of production or state control. Redistribute the added value to the rightful owners, control profit maximization, allow only reinvestment of capitalists' profit and you have a good start (oh yes and sodomize big shareholders).

@jjrglobal Quit the insanity. The means of production are not under direct government or workers control. The country is capitalist because the state allows for capital flight, many investments and divestment, private industry, etc. It is capitalist. It is not a fully free market capitalism but it's not socialist either. I hate these internet right wing libertarians that say this was socialism not capitalism. They have to be the dumbest people on Earth or listen to too much Glenn Beck or both.

@jjrglobal Debt. Most of it was tied off in shady investments to finance the mixed economy of Greece. Most developed nations after the 70s relied more on corporate, individual and state debt to finance the economy rather than the stagnant productive economy. What the world is dealing with the is the monopoly power of finance capitalism.
