I try to support Jason Cooper as much as I can. But I don't understand why he uses the prerecorded pattern in the beginning of this song.  Its such a cool beat youd think that you would want to play it yourself. I like the patterns on push, I think it adds something and makes it sound fresh. Oh, I don't know... He is a good drummer though. You can all start hating on me now....

i've watched the video & i think that -at least in this song- jason can go to rest a few minutes and let the drum machine do its work.

jason has a great sound problem and this is something that cant be denied.

the drummer is playing on top of an already prerecorded drum pattern. he is just hitting the cymbals and the snare but the latest is totally unnecessary as the tape has a snare running in the background too.

i'd take the drummer out and make him take a 6 minute nap :)

Worst version I've ever heard for this song. There is definitely something sounding dodgy (Is Bob's guitar out of tune or can't he play than song properly anymore ? Listen to the solo and compare it with a 1984 / 1987 version ). I'm not talking about the only thing I can hear clearly in the mix and that really is annoying me : bloody Jason's open hihat...
