This fight was such a bummer for me, I must have tried it more than 15 times, I had run out of shotgun ammo and had to rely on my handgun. The best I could do was to get 40 % of the boss's gauge down but never more. This fight was too hard I gave up in frustration! It is not fair to at least not have a herb there somewhere! I know that if you die it lets you start from the beginning of the fight with full life, but now I have to do it ALL OVER AGAIN. I was cursing so much during this fight, GRR!

Wesker started out as a top Umbrella scientist who eventually planned to betray Umbrella with Birkin. Birkin however needed to finish the G-virus and when the mansion incidents happened Wesker dispatched the police force, S.T.A.R.S., which he had been put in charge of to deal with the incident. Seeing the oppurtunity Wesker injected himself with a virus Birkin handed over to him which brought him back as a super human and after coming back defected to another organization.

Wesker, so far, has NEVER mutated into another form. What his notes in the game say though imply that he and Sergei both have the same virus and that the mutated form of the host is a physical representation of what they are at heart.

Wesker let the Tyrant kill him so the virus would take effect and bring him back to life in the form he is now. No one knows why he has the eyes he does but his virus was stated to enhance muscular and respiratory systems in the host.

...the hive does not exist in the video game universe of Resident Evil, it only exists in the live action movie universe which isn't what really happens. In the games Umbrella's specific purpose is to design bio-organic weapons for war. They created the T-virus to make these B.O.W.s and as such the main thing the T-virus was supposed to make, Tyrants, were named after the virus. Tyrants and Hunters were what were supposed to come from the T-virus, not zombies. Zombies are just accidents.

In RE0 it was the T-001 Tyrant

RE1/Remake it was the T-002

RE2 it was a T-103

RE3 there was a T-103 and Nemesis

Code Veronica there was a T-078

Umbrella Chronicles has Ivans, T-001, T-002, T-103, Nemesis, and T.A.L.O.S.

Any RE fan knows what a Tyrant is that has played any of the old games.

They got the Nemesis (NE-Alpha) Parasite from the European branch for Lisa Trevor and the research facility was creating T.A.L.O.S. in response too the Nemesis project the European Facility had created since they were rivals.
