I prefer the Dutch style low kick then the Thai style low kick...some say there is no difference but i think there is...just my preference thats it =D
Dutch style evolved more from kickboxing , boxing and Muay Thai needless to say it evolved in the Netherlands. Dutch style fighters put a little more emphasis on boxing , combos , and footwork. In most cases the are a bit more aggresive than traditional thai style.
Famous Dutch style fighters:
Remy Bonjasky (although he does fight like he's Dutch style)
Traditional muay thai is just that , traditional (thai style). Thai style focuses alot more on kicks and knees then the Dutch , abit more on envasion (instead of blocking) , and alot more on advanced clinch fighting. Thai style also seem to a few more dynamic atacks in their aresonal.
You have heard of the world famous Fairtex Gym? They are traditional muay thai!
I live in ohio and am an avid mma fan, guys from team Griffonrawl are solid and Jason Dent is a UFC vet so I dont know why someone would think these guys are not instructor material. Rankor just sounds like an idiot to me.
Thanks Rankor I appreciate it. Congrats to GriffonRawl students Aaron Veverka & Adam Sadny on your awesome wins this weekend. Your guys performances make dealing with comments like this worth it.
What you talking about? The guy teaching is very good and everything he is saying is technicaly correct. The guys practicing may not be world champions but hey, they are there to learn.
um no
