well my opinion the cleans are ok but the distortion sounds very muffy i dont really dig it if i want something with good distortion i would go mesa dual rectifier or the peavey 6505 5150 ll but over all it is a good rock amp but i would not want to use for metal.

I have this amp. This guy doesnt do it justice at all. If you like a nice crunch with a sweet upper midrange this is the shit. I play with the dirty channel's gain set on 3/10 and your can play lamb of god style riffs

One would think that such a professional team such as these guys would have taken the time to set up a mike properly and do this amp justice. The guitar is a bit dark in its tonal color as well ... They should redo this demo, its not fair to Diamond amps.. or to us who want to hear whats what... sounds like its underwater.

now a days, 1999$ for a Boutique Style amp is damn cheap. the same thing in ENGL or Diezel will be a LOT more expensive. i'm going to check this baby out this week. Hopefully, get back from the shop with one in hand..:)

How can you judge this amp by how this video sounds? First of all, you cannot see the cab, or the mic used. It could be just the camera mic to be honest. This is more of a feature showcase than anything, in my opinion. If you want to judge the amp, check it out in person before buying (should go without saying). I'm sure it will impress in person.

Channel 1 sounds like shit to my ears.. Try out the Custom Audio Electronics OD100

and the Elmwood M60 Modena, those are some pretty awesome amps

These are built with boutiqe craftsmanship, but they're not boutiqe amps anymore. Every bit as good though, I would go as far to say these go beyond boutiqe.

Well Orange do make some seriously sick amps. I know Zoltan from FFDP uses the Nitrox so I wanted to see what it was about, and the best I got was from Diamond's own site which has a couple sound clips. I still like my RV50 better. I love comedy and sometimes I do crack a few good jokes or humorous points, but I'm no comedian.

Professional amps aren't supposed to be purchases made out of the front of your wallet. It's no different than buying a professional saxaphone or piano.
